Del.icio.us

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Bookmark sites, this one is called Del.icio.us (delicious). These kinds of sites provide a way to see what other people are bookmarking, share what you are bookmarking, and have a place to find your bookmarks no matter what computer you are on. I like using del.icio.us because it allows me to add tags to my bookmarks, which means I don’t have to remember which folder I put it in, I can browse based on certain subjects.
So check out my del.icio.us page and see how it works…

Another advantage to using del.icio.us is that it offers really simple code for tag clouds, simply set the tags how you want them to look then copy the code and paste it where you want it. As of this article I’ve got 57 links on the site and now all I have to do is click on a tag in the subject of what I’m looking for.

The Spread of the Black Plauge/Black Death/Bubonic Plague in Europe

brueghel death

A fascinating look at the Black Plague at StupidBeaver.com caught my attention. Oddly enough when I was in school I found history boring, but now with the internet and it’s many media possibilities I find it much more interesting.

If you know of any other cool sites about the ‘Black Plague’ please leave a note about it in the comments :-)
